Event List

Children ages 7+ and their parent/guardian are invited to join us for an afternoon learning about the ancient art of Chinese Calligraphy! This class will focus on Heart Traces : using our brush as a bridge to connect with each other. 

Open to children of all ages. 

Adults and teenagers over 14, whether beginners or experienced, are welcome. If you are a beginner, you will learn to make a scarf. Contact Ms. Charlene at the front desk or at cvarry@southplainfield.lib.nj.us to find out what supplies to bring.

Join us for a discussion about the benefits of journaling and then make a journal of your own to keep.
Open to students ages 11 and up. 

Open to children ages 4 - 6 years old. 

Students ages 10 - 13 years old who have already completed our Beginning Crochet Workshop, or who have a basic knowledge of crochet stitches are welcome to join us each Thursday evening (May 9 - June 13) as we work on an adorable mini mat! 

All ages are invited to join us as we celebrate the contributions and influences of Asian and Pacific Islander Americans and enjoy demonstrations, displays, crafts, food and fun. 

Join us this month for Creative Crafting with Karen as we make a gnome flowerpot.
