Bilingual English and Chinese cooking program for children ages 3 - 13 years old
Color Our World - Dessert for the Summer: Xue Mei Niang
Xue Mei Niang (雪媚娘) is a traditional Chinese dessert invented in Hong Kong in the 1970s by chef Liang Jing, and also known as "Snowy Mochi" in English. Some sources suggest it originated from Japan and is a derivative of Daifuku
We will read a book together, learn and trace a Chinese character, then practice how to make a dough, flat it and shape it to a bun with fillings then finally make a delicious dessert for the summer, Xue Mei Niang!
Please register as a FAMILY, not as individuals! Children will be asked to work as a family project by sharing tools and supplies if overbooked.
