Each month the library offers open hours for children to make projects.

Free Sew Hours 3PM - 5PM

Register ONLY if you are new to sewing - If you are new to sewing, please plan to register for making appointment of Learn Your Sewing Machine (4:30pm) before coming for making project with the sewing machine. Space is limited.

 

Self-guided -If you have used a sewing machine before, you can simply come and make your own projects. It is "first come, first served" basis program, and please be aware this is not a sewing class and there will be no instructor present. Maker Time is a walk-in open-hour for makers. You can come in for making your own projects by using the library's sewing machine! We will prepare materials, fabric, needles, threads and more! You are welcome to invite your friends, and bring your own materials / supplies to make a designated item.
