Event Details

Join Tim Knapp from the Seton Hall University School of Law FINRA Investor Advocacy Program to learn important basics to consider before investing. The presentation is designed to provide real-world education regarding financial literacy. It addresses why investing your money is so important, basics on commonly used terms in the financial industry, questions to ask your investment professional before turning over your money, and how to effectively handle investment problems if they arise.

Tim Knapp is a third-year law student at Seton Hall University School of Law and a Pro Bono Student Advocate in the law school's FINRA Investor Advocacy Program (IAP). Prior to law school, he studied Finance at Seton Hall University. Seton Hall University School of Law's IAP is the result of the collaborative work of the law students and law professors therein, and was made possible through an origination grant by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
